- In the next step of the registration process you will be required to secure your account with a credit card. In 2000 and 2001,
we allowed bidders to pay by check. However, for 2002 we will no longer accept payments by check or money orders. The main reson for this change is the fact that GolfUS.com is growing, thanks to your help.
because of our continued growth, we are forced to automate our collections process. We plan to implement other automated payment processes, like electronic funds transfer, but at this time the only payment method we are prepared to handle are credit cards.
You will not be charged any fees to use GolfUS.com. Your credit card will only be charged for the amount of any winning auction bids.
- For each GolfUS.com auction, the bidder must pay special attention to the terms of that specific auction. All GolfUS.com Auctions will have validation dates, during which the winning bidder must use the item up for auction. For example, one auction might have two rounds of golf with cart, which are good from July 1 - July 5. If you win this bid you must use the rounds of golf in that time period and you must call the course to schedule a tee time.
In addition, GolfUS.com has added flexibility to the round of golf by stating that it is good any day through this period. That means that if the golf course is open for public play on any given day you will have the opportunity to schedule the closest open tee time to your desired start time. This does not guarantee that your preferred time will always be available. The participating golf course has the final decision. When bidding, it is highly recommended that you be able to play several different times during the winning time frame. The golf course is under no obligation to award you a specific time.
- After winning a bid, you must call the course to schedule a tee time. Please identify yourself as a tee time auction winner. If you do not, there is a chance your auction certificate may not be honored upon your arrival at the golf course.
- GolfUS.com reserves the right to monitor all bidding activity to ensure a fair process. GolfUS.com also reserves the right to reject any winning bid deemed to be made in bad faith, that may be in violation of local laws, taxes or restrictions and any bid that was made with the intent for resell.
- By placing a bid on GolfUS.com, you are entering into a sales contract. The user is forbidden to place bids without the intent to purchase. This action could result in legal action. By placing a winning bid, you are agreeing to pay for the item, whether you use it or not. Refunds will only be offered in the event a course is close due to weather.
- It is a violation of the law to make bids or orders under a false name, an invalid credit card, or multiple e-mail addresses. GolfUS.com screens for suspicious bids and these bids or users are subject to investigation, suspension and possible cancellation. If you commit fraudulent activity you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

- GolfUS.com reserves the right to suspend your account for any accused wrongdoing. This suspension is for our safety and will stay in effect until all of the circumstances have been cleared.
- Winning bidders - At the conclusion of the auction, GolfUS.com will notify the winning bidder by e-mail. We reserve the right to cancel or reject your scheduled tee time that was purchased through the GolfUS.com auction, if there is a problem with your payment. We also reserve the right to suspend your account until balance is paid in full, including possible surcharges.
Once you have won an auction your credit card will be automatically charged.
- GolfUS.com reserves the right to cancel any and all auctions at any time. We also reserve the right to cancel your bid and refund your money at any time. We retain the rights to every round of golf until they are used at the participating golf course. In most cases, this would only occur in case of fraudulent activity.
- GolfUS.com reserves the right to close tee-time auctions early, extend auctions, or alter the specific time and number of golfers for each auction at any time at our discretion. Posted closing times and displays of current time are approximate. We recommend placing tee-time bids early to improve chances of winning and to avoid incorrect time zone conversion. We strongly encourage proxy bidding to assist in the bidding process.
- All posted descriptions of golf courses and related auction material are meant to be informative and are to be accepted as conditions in general. We make no guarantees as to the type of course, the conditions you will find upon your arrival or any other course variable. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SEASONAL RATE CHANGES OR DAILY SPEACIALS. The price that is displayed is supposed to be representative of the highest possible price you might pay if you played that course within our valid dates. GolfUS.com is an informative site and we have made every effort in good faith to provide accurate descriptions. With that being said, we are not responsible for any misleading information. In addition we are not responsible for any typographical, pricing, or advertising errors.
- GolfUS.com strives to maintain 100% uptime; not including scheduled maintenance periods. Should we experience technical difficulties, GolfUS.com is not responsible for bids that are not processed or accepted.
- GolfUS.com will work diligently with you to resolve any type of refund or renewal. In the event of a rain out or any other cancellation by Mother Nature, your winning round will be honored during the next week. This policy is at the discretion of the golf course and the same starting time may not be available. GolfUS.com is the responsible party to work out an acceptable agreement. If you miss your scheduled tee time due to an error on your part there is no refund or return policy. You assume all risks when you purchase the round for upcoming dates.
- GolfUS.com reserves the right to make all decisions regarding customer guarantees or refunds and may authorize a refund for any reason including, but not limited to, customer dissatisfaction.
